Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated 3-4 Year Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Conduct low voltage wiring for communication systems, alarms, or control panels under supervision
- Measure electrical components using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters to verify circuit integrity
- Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Support the installation of high voltage systems while adhering to strict safety protocols
- Participate in framing carpentry tasks related to electrical infrastructure where necessary
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks
Experience
- 3-4 years of electrical apprenticeship experience or equivalent hands-on training in industrial or commercial settings
- Proven experience working on construction sites with exposure to framing carpentry and schematic reading
- Familiarity with NEC standards, blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring for communication or security systems is a plus
- Ability to work safely at heights and around high voltage equipment in various construction environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
