Project Manager

Overview:

We seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead multiple IT projects. The consultant will oversee project planning, execution, risk management, and delivery of high-quality outcomes within defined timelines.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and documenting business requirements.
• Build comprehensive project plans and ensure timely execution.
• Identify, monitor, and manage project risks and issues.
• Ensure all deliverables and activities are completed with high quality and on schedule.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports and strategies (oral and written).
• Collaborate with internal teams, management, and external vendors to manage project information, plans, metrics, and documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with SharePoint and other project management tools (Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access, Excel).
• Experience in risk management, including identifying risk triggers and mitigating project risks.
• Strong ability to create and maintain key project management artifacts and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective listening and interpersonal skills; able to align diverse stakeholders and competing interests.
• Experience with Medicaid or healthcare claims IT systems preferred (not mandatory).
• Ability to manage multiple high-profile, high-priority projects simultaneously.

1. Experience with Medicaid or Healthcare Delivery Systems

Required Certification:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
