What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty position at Rappahannock County High School?
RCHS is currently seeking passionate and qualified adjunct faculty members to join our team for the upcoming academic year. Adjunct faculty play a vital role in supporting our students and programs by offering specialized expertise and flexible instruction in both academic and career/technical fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality instruction to RCHS students in a flexible, part-time format.
- Collaborate with RCHS staff and administrators to ensure alignment with school curriculum goals and state standards.
- Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student growth and learning.
- Maintain regular communication with students, families, and school staff
Qualifications
We are seeking individuals who meet one or both of the following criteria:
- Career Technical Education (CTE) Adjuncts:
Individuals who are credentialed and have demonstrated expertise in technical professions such as carpentry and construction contracting. - Academic Adjuncts:
Individuals who hold a Master’s degree in a core content area (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science, History, Foreign Language, Art etc.) and are eligible to teach dual-enrollment, advanced, or enrichment courses in partnership with higher education institutions.
Salary Scale: Adjunct Salary Scale
