Job Summary
Our established, patient-centered dental practice is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced, professional, and committed to providing outstanding patient care. We offer a supportive work environment and a diverse range of services, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Experience with Eaglesoft is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up supplies
- Assist the dentist during restorative, prosthodontics, endodontic, and pediatric procedures
- Perform efficient four-handed dentistry to enhance patient comfort and workflow
- Take digital X-rays while following HIPAA and infection control standards
- Accurately record patient vital signs and medical history
- Greet patients, manage scheduling, and update medical records
- Provide post-treatment instructions and basic oral health education
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and uphold all infection control protocols
- Assist with front office tasks as needed
- Stay current with advancing dental technologies, including 3D scanners and imaging tools
Requirements
- At least one year of previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and clinical documentation
- Eaglesoft experience is a plus
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
