Are you our next expert? We are looking for a Maintenance Technician at our Brookshire, TX Cylinder Refurbishing Plant location.
Job Summary:
Provide mechanical support service in response to operational changes resulting from malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement, or other modification of existing mechanical systems and/or equipment.

Provide mechanical support service in response to operational changes resulting from malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement, or other modification of existing mechanical systems and/or equipment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform and document daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
- Conduct emergency equipment repair as needed.
- Liaison with outside contractors to plan and execute equipment upgrades and replacements as needed.
- Work in elevated areas (above 4 feet) and hot, cold, and humid environments.
- Conduct and document annual inspections of lockout/tag-out procedures and facility-safe work practices.
- Work with the plant manager to audit and develop function-specific plant training.
- Provide support during regulatory audits.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Certification or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and/or related college or technical level coursework is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to follow diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturing instructions, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Ability to work independently to make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends or holidays as needed.
