Job Description:
- Utilize advanced TCAD simulation tools to design, analyze, and optimize cutting‑edge semiconductor devices and processes.
- Work closely with device engineers and integration engineers to accelerate technology development and improve device performance through simulation‑driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TCAD device and process simulations (e.g., Synopsys Sentaurus) to support device design and technology development.
- Develop and calibrate simulation models using experimental data and physical parameters.
- Analyze electrical characteristics, reliability behavior, and process variations using simulation frameworks.
- Explore new device architectures, materials, and process options to support technology innovation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to translate simulation results into actionable recommendations.
- Automate simulation workflows and improve efficiency using scripting languages (Python, etc.).
Requirements:
Practical experience with TCAD simulation tools (Sentaurus, etc.).
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics (MOSFET, power devices, memory, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
- Communication skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in advanced device technologies, such as:
FinFET / GAAFET / CFET
- Hands‑on experience in semiconductor fabrication or characterization.
- Knowledge of process simulation (implant, diffusion, oxidation, etching, deposition).
