Job Summary And Qualifications

The electrician will maintain all electrical distribution and emergency power using The National Electrical Code as a standard and all other duties assigned.

What you will do in this role:

• Completely isolates defect in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical
  
  

equipment, using testing equipment, such as amp meters, ohmmeters, voltmeters,

etc.

• Examines and tests such elements of system as distribution panels, motor control centers, circuit breakers and motors, in order to locate obvious faults.
• Replaces faulty components, such as switches, sockets, plugs, fuses, light fixtures.
• Competently restores electrical services due to equipment failures.
• Accurately installs new wiring and electrical machines, or equipment, in accordance to the National Electrical Code.
• P.M’s of electrical equipment( Electrical Transformers, Electrical Panels, Electrical Switch Gear, Motor Controls Centers, Elevators, Emergency Generators and etc.).
• Able to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawing.
• Willing to help and assist other mechanics/trades as needed.
• Will to except other duties assigned

What qualifications you will need:

• 15 Years or more of electrical experience preferred
• Hospital, Commercial, and Industrial experience preferred
• Electrical Journeyman preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
