Duties

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements for data projects and reporting needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and reporting/dashboarding tools to visualize key metrics effectively.
• Conduct data analysis utilizing Excel data analysis techniques, SQL queries, R programming, Python scripting, and ETL processes to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Support database design and query management across SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions within an Agile framework.
• Perform requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical specifications for database design, data models, and analytics solutions.
• Assist in the integration of linked data sources to enhance comprehensive analytics capabilities for strategic decision-making.

Skills

• Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Visio for dashboard development and reporting.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle) along with query management skills.
• Experience with ETL processes using Talend or similar tools to facilitate data integration workflows.
• Technical proficiency in R programming, Python scripting, VBA automation, Bash (Unix shell), and database design principles.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and Agile project management practices for efficient project execution.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and analysis skills to communicate insights clearly.
• Ability to perform complex Excel data analysis combined with requirements analysis for effective solution design.
• Understanding of Linked Data concepts and how they enhance interconnected analytics environments.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
