On-Call Position- $35-$38 hourly
*Must pass a background check, drug screening, and have a clean driving record.
You will be guaranteed 40 hours per week, and we will provide you with a take-home service truck.
We provide 24/7 emergency roadside and on-site repairs for heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigerated units. We’re looking for a dependable technician who can troubleshoot problems, work independently, and complete quality repairs in the field.
Pay & Position Details
- Pay: $35–$38 per hour, based on experience
- Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week, with overtime available
- Company vehicle: Take-home service truck provided

- Schedule: On-call availability required, including nights, weekends, and emergency calls, to support our 24/7 service operation
Responsibilities
- Perform roadside and on-site diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, semi-trailers, and reefer units.
- Repair trailer brakes, suspension, air systems, lighting, wiring, landing gear, and doors.
- Repair and patch trailer walls, roofs, floors, and other damaged areas, including structural repairs appropriate for field service.
- Diagnose and repair reefer electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and temperature-control issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections when qualified.
- Provide roadside tire services and repairs.
- Assess breakdowns and identify when additional equipment or shop repairs are needed.
- Document repairs, parts used, and job details accurately.
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
- Maintain a safe, organized company service truck, tools, and equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and semi-trailers.
- Strong hands-on trailer repair skills, including roof, wall, floor, and door repairs.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing reefer units and refrigeration systems.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and professional.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
- Willingness to respond to after-hours and emergency service calls.
Experience with Freightliner, Kenworth, Volvo, Peterbilt, dry vans, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers is valuable. Please include any Carrier or Thermo King experience when applying.
