What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Investigator position at Rapid Sign Up?
Seeking a dedicated Field Investigator to serve as the face of our investigation company for new clients across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. This is for Personal Injury cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Intake: Meet with injured clients at their homes, hospitals, or accident scenes to explain and execute retainer agreements and legal intake forms.
- Scene Investigation: Travel to accident sites to perform comprehensive scene documentation, including high-quality photography, precise measurements, and site diagrams.
- Notarization: Act as a Notary Public to verify and authorize various legal affidavits and documents on-site.
- Reporting: Submit detailed, organized reports and digital files to our legal team in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Residency: Must currently reside on Long Island (Nassau or Suffolk County) for efficient territory coverage.
- Experience: Previous experience in private investigation, insurance adjusting, or a personal injury legal environment.
- Credential: Must hold a valid New York Notary Public commission.
- Equipment: * Reliable personal vehicle for daily travel throughout the island.
- An updated laptop capable of handling document uploads and report writing.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills; ability to show empathy to injured clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual: Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus.
- Technical: Proficiency in creating digital accident diagrams or using mobile scanning apps. Google Drive , PDF EXPERT or Canva and Adobe Acrobat
Pay: $50.00 - $150.00 per day
