Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tow Truck Driver to join our team. Duties
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles from one location to another.
- Perform automotive diagnostics and minor repairs as needed during towing operations.
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck, ensuring proper securing techniques are used.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their towing needs and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including vehicle condition reports and mileage logs.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the tow truck to ensure it is in good working order.
- Utilize conflict management skills to handle difficult situations professionally and calmly.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely response to calls for service.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with experience in automotive repair preferred.
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles and various types of tow trucks, including flatbed models.
- Experience in conflict management and customer service is essential.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with towing operations.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus but not required.
