Position Summary:
Rapid Pump & Meter Service Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant Service Coordinator to support our service operations team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient scheduling, dispatching, and coordination of service activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and have experience working with service or dispatch platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in scheduling inspections and routine service appointments
- Coordinate and dispatch technicians for emergency service calls
- Order and track materials required for service jobs
- Support review of technician time entries and daily service reports for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain accurate records within service management systems
- Communicate effectively with technicians, customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Provide administrative support to the Regional Manager and service team
- Help prioritize and adjust schedules based on urgency and operational needs
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent computer literacy, including experience with service scheduling or dispatch platforms
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication and problemsolving skills
- Previous experience in service coordination, dispatching, or administrative support preferred
- Experience in the pump and motor industry and/or HVAC industry strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge of Generators/Load Bank Testing/Service and plumbing preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus

Work Conditions / Schedule:
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
