What You'll Do
- Prepare, set up, and calibrate CNC machines to launch production runs.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications before each job.
- Continuously monitor operations to uphold quality and throughput.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production to optimize processes.
- Document production details, including machine settings and results.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; machining-related technical training is a plus.
- 3 years of experience as a CNC machinist or setup technician.
- Deep understanding of CNC processes, tooling, and setup best practices.
- Fluency in reading technical documents and blueprints.
- Competence with precision measuring tools and gauges.
- Excellent troubleshooting, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
