Maintenance Technician 2nd shift 3pm-1130pm, Monday - Friday

Salary: $16.50 - $18 DOE.

Excellent opportunity for a dynamic person to join a cable manufacturing company as a Maintenance Technician. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor the Maintenance Technician will complete all activities of preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the proper function of the machinery, equipment, tooling for the company and the overall maintenance of the facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

 Participate in the implementation of the corrective and preventative maintenance program for hand tools, applicators and other equipment that is required.

 Spread parts inventory control for Tools and other equipment.

 Support for the continuous improvement projects of the department and company.

 Support the overall maintenance of the facility.

 Support to production, warehouse, quality and other company departments.

 Participate in the execution of the housekeeping maintenance program which will require to clean, sweep and mop. Build and design poke-yoke, fixtures and boards. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Expertise/Skills:

 Electronic Technician career or similar.

 One year of maintenance experience in manufacturing cable assemblies or similar.  Must be efficient and a self-starter with the ability to work alone or in a team environment with limited supervision.

 Janitorial experience a plus Qualifications:

 Excellent communication (oral and written), listening and interpersonal.

 Good judgment and decision making.

 Excellent in management of material resources.

 Effective in working both independently and in a team setting.

 Attention to details and follow-up. Education / Experience:

 High school Graduate  Maintenance Experience 1 year

 Janitorial experience 1 year
