Production Operations Coordinator

Location: Charlestown MA
As RLP's Production Operations Coordinator, you will support and optimize daily manufacturing operations. This role is central to making sure our production team has the materials, inventory, and systems they need, while also ensuring customer orders are packaged and shipped on time. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare, mix, and handle silicone and gel materials for printing workflows
- Track and manage inventory of silicone, gel, and production supplies
- Conduct post-processing steps including cleaning and finishing of printed parts
- Update and maintain tracking systems for inventory, orders, and shipments
- Support printer calibration, testing, and readiness alongside engineering team
- Identify and suggest improvements for workflow efficiency and uptime
- Assist with packaging and shipping customer parts and printers
- Keep production and storage areas organized and ready for daily use
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or production support
- Comfortable working with elastomers and tools in a hands-on environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets or basic inventory management tools
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Experience in a lab, workshop, or manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
