Cell Phone Repair Technician

Rapid iPhone Repair is looking to expand its technical staff. We are a fast-growing company with opportunities to grow within. We are looking for an experienced cell phone and computer repair technician who will lead one of our stores.

Our ideal technician should be able to:

• Serve customers by accurately diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing devices, all while maintaining a customer-friendly presence
• Focus on complete customer satisfaction
• Complete minor soldering repairs
• Provide recommendations for problem resolution
• Explain complex technical issues to a customer in a non-technical, simple-to-understand manner.
• Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers
• Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed Rapid iPhone Repair quality standards
• Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment
• Answer phone calls to the store with a professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor
• Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
• Be knowledgeable of the accessory inventory and sales techniques and be able to provide accessory recommendations.
• Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and the real-time status of each repair.
• Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store

Basic Qualifications:

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Organization and cleanliness
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles.
• Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics.
• Previous experience working at retail electronics or cell phone carrier stores.

Pay starts at $17.50 after a 2 week-1 month training. Pay does not include tips or commission. On average, an employee working full time will add anywhere from $2-$4 dollars per hour to their base pay solely by earning commission and tips.
