Diesel Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED (Level A and B) Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience in various types of heavy equipment and vehicles. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

*MULTIPLE POSITIONS These positions are for road techs, as well as an in-shop mechanic who has expertise with engine rebuilds. We have two shifts, a day shift which is Mon-Fri 7:30 am-4 pm (weekends as needed), as well as an evening shift Sun-Thurs 3:30pm - 12am. You must have a flexible schedule to be able to take on emergency road calls as they come up. PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE LEVEL*

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role is REQUIRED.
• Strong experience with engine rebuilds is preferred but not required.
