Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and safety standards.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing their needs with enthusiasm.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales performance.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties during shifts.
- Support team members with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring overall restaurant cleanliness and safety.
- Assist in training new staff members on food preparation, POS operation, and customer service standards.
- Lead by example during shifts by managing workflow, motivating team members, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Ensure all food industry safety protocols are followed diligently to uphold quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen experience is advantageous.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS will help you hit the ground running.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
- Background in retail math or grocery store operations can be beneficial for cash handling and sales upselling tasks.
- Prior customer service experience that demonstrates excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
