Material Handler

The Material Handler will issue and kit all purchased parts for jobs that flow through the manufacturing process. On-time schedule for kitting jobs would be approximately 2 weeks to a jobs scheduled ship date.

What's a normal workday look like?

• Pull parts to prepare kits for jobs in process based on the jobs assigned and published ship date.
• Deliver kitted parts to each manufacturing cell.
• Work closely with the Fabrication Supervisor to kit and issue steel appropriately.
• Inform Inventory Manager of any issues with deliveries, inventory or kitting processes.
• Assist in other areas as directed by Inventory Manager or Plant Manager.
• Apply all applicable safety require3ments to comply with regulatory agencies.
• Must be available for overtime.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lifting of materials 50 pounds or less is frequent. Overhead cranes or Hi-Lo equipment are available and should be utilized for heavy loads.

• Carrying

• Pushing

• Pulling

• Climbing

• Balancing

• Stooping, kneeling, crouching (some in a confined space)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
