Disaster Response Paramedic (Wildfires)

Wildfire Deployment Information

You MUST have your National Registry

You MUST be ready to deploy after Red Card Training.

You must be 21 years old

We will be conducting two Fireline Red Card Training Classes, the requirements to attend this class are listed below:

· Nims Courses: (I-100, IS-700)

· Red Card Courses: (S-130, S-190, L-180)

Once these courses are completed and uploaded into our system you will be contacted to make travel arrangements to Salt Lake City and to order your Fire Gear.

· First Class:

o 8/9- Noon courses must be complete, Ram is making calls to book airlines

o 8/10- Arrive in Salt Lake City

o 8/11- Class day (Pack Test- 3 mile run in 45 minutes with 45 lbs.)

o 8/12- Leave for home

· Second Class:

o 8/17- Noon courses must be complete, Ram is making calls to book airlines

o 8/18- Arrive in Salt Lake City

o 8/19- Class day (Pack Test- 3 mile run in 45 minutes with 45 lbs.)

o 8/20- Leave for home

· We pay for classes, travel, and lodging.

You are ready to Deploy!

Compensation, Accommodations and Behavior

· EMT’s - $500 per day/ after 30 days $620 per day

· Paramedics- $600 per day/ after 30 days $750 per day

· You are paid weekly (W-2)

· Live in a tent at Base Camp, food, restrooms, and laundry are provided.

· Workday- 16 hours on, 8 hours off

· Deployment can be 14 to 21 days, then 2 days off and you can redeploy.

· There is no drama, no unhappiness, no constant complaining, it’s a very tough environment you get paid well but we will not have any team members that make it harder for the rest of the team. Do your job, be helpful and you will get more opportunities.

Wildfire Gear:

· Wildfire Gear is required and costs about $900, we will order this gear if you don’t have it and do a payroll deduction. It’s yours to keep and reuse. You will need Wildfire boots, pants, and shirts.

Pay: $4,200.00 - $6,300.00 per week
