Job Description
As Assistant Car Wash Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the car wash runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the Director of Operations to oversee daily activities, manage staff, and ensure customers have a wonderful experience and receive outstanding service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Operations and the Maintenance Manager in supervising day-to-day operations of the car wash facility.
- Help manage our team of car wash loaders and attendants to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Serve our customers by addressing inquiries, making the customer feel welcome and notice, explaining our car wash packages and the benefits of our membership program.
- Monitors the car wash level of performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Manage and monitor facility cleanliness, service and equipment operations by leading the team on all necessary activities. These activities include preventative maintenance, daily opening and closing routines, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ensure customers are satisfied and receive excellent service; handle any customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure the car wash equipment and facility are maintained in excellent condition, coordinate repairs, maintenance and cleaning.
Experience and Skill Qualifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in auto or retail management preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
