Position Summary:
The Creative Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Rapid City Rush’s brand and fan engagement efforts through innovative design, multimedia production, and creative storytelling. This position plays a key role in the execution of marketing campaigns, gameday entertainment, and promotional initiatives, ensuring the team’s identity is consistent, engaging, and visually impactful.
The Creative Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Rapid City Rush’s brand and fan engagement efforts through innovative design, multimedia production, and creative storytelling. This position plays a key role in the execution of marketing campaigns, gameday entertainment, and promotional initiatives, ensuring the team’s identity is consistent, engaging, and visually impactful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design creative assets for print, digital, social media, email, and in-arena platforms.
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to drive ticket sales, community engagement, and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute new ideas that enhance the fan experience.
- Assist in managing the team’s brand standards across all communication channels.
- Edit and produce promotional videos, highlight reels, and other multimedia content.
- Capture photo and video content for use in marketing, digital, and community outreach initiatives.
- Work cross-departmentally with ticket sales, corporate partnerships, community relations to fulfill creative needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects).
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and brand consistency.
- Experience in video editing and motion graphics preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of sports marketing, hockey, or live event production a plus.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hockey schedule.
