Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer to join our FAST GROWING team. Experience preferred! MUST BE HIGHLY MOTIVATED. Substantial bonuses and overtime are possible. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Installer will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to safety standards and regulations. We have a variety of clients ranging from small commercial to traditional residential to apartment complexes and much more! 80% of our work is in Montgomery and Chester County, with the rest in Bucks and Berks Counties.
You will oversee and execute complex HVAC system installations, repairs for both residential and light commercial, rooftop, and multifamily installations. As a vital leader on our team, you will coordinate installation crews, ensure adherence to safety standards, and deliver exceptional service to our clients. Your expertise in HVAC systems, mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and refrigeration will drive successful project outcomes and elevate our reputation for quality workmanship. Duties
- Lead and supervise HVAC installation projects, ensuring precise assembly of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents to facilitate accurate system installation and troubleshooting.
- Perform system diagnostics using electrical meters such as ohmmeters; identify issues with electrical systems, controls, or mechanical components; execute repairs efficiently.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems including boilers, refrigeration units (including ammonia refrigeration), air conditioning systems, and building automation systems to restore optimal operation.
- Coordinate with property managers or clients to schedule service appointments; provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs or upgrades clearly and professionally.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations including EPA standards for refrigerants; maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices for HVAC system installation, repair techniques, schematic reading, plumbing integration, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting.
Skills
- Extensive construction experience with HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair in diverse environments.
- Proven service technician experience with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems including refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, air conditioning units, and appliances.
- Ability to read detailed schematics and blueprints; familiarity with HVAC design principles enhances project accuracy.
- Mechanical knowledge covering plumbing connections, electrical systems diagnostics—including electrical troubleshooting—and building automation controls.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, ohmmeters; capable of performing precise adjustments and repairs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; familiarity with
driver standards preferred. - Certifications including EPA certification for refrigerants; knowledge of HVAC system maintenance practices; experience with appliance repair is advantageous.
- Ability to diagnose complex issues using electrical diagnostics tools; proficient in equipment troubleshooting across multiple mechanical systems.

Pay: $46.00 - $52.00 per hour
