General Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Technology and typing skills
- Working knowledge of math
- Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate
- Possess strong communication skills (written and oral)
Staff member will effectively perform the following duties in a timely manner:
- Type a variety of materials.
- Maintain computers, printers and copy machines and keep supplies available, as well as have a current knowledge of the building inventory.
- Copy and prepare materials for the faculty.
- Supervise and monitor the cafeteria program, including the supervision of students and the sale and collection of tickets. This would also include the daily reconciliation of tickets, meals served, and money.
- Assist the teachers in preparing instructional materials as requested.
- Familiarity and/or knowledge of office machines.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and community.
- Complete a variety of related office duties as assigned, such as maintaining student attendance records, etc.
- Ability to complete weekly bookkeeping tasks.
- Familiarity with all or nearly all secretarial responsibilities in order to substitute when a situation might warrant.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent and/or the Board of Education.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, teachers, administration and community members.
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
- Ability to use e-mail and office equipment effectively.
- Ability to work with students individually or in group settings.
Salary : $19 - $26
