What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chimney Sweep position at Ransom Chimney?
We are looking for an experienced chimney sweep to join our growing team, willing to start ASAP. Competitive pay based on experience.
Job Description
- Cleaning flues: Remove dangerous soot, debris, and flammable creosote buildup from chimney walls.
- Conducting inspections: Check structural integrity, masonry, dampers, and flue liners for damage or code violations.
- Educating clients: Advise homeowners on safe burning habits, fuel quality, and routine maintenance schedules.
- Using dust control: Protect homes with drop cloths and high-powered specialized vacuums during cleanings.
Drivers license and your own transportation is a must.
We can provide tools. Location is based on appointments scheduled for the day.
We are also looking for a brick mason so if you happen to be experienced in both please let us know!!!
