Schedule: Full-Time, Evenings (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) with alternating weekends
At Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, every team member helps create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our patients and their families. We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Lead to support our evening Environmental Services team.
This is a working lead position. You'll work alongside your team while helping coordinate daily operations, supporting staff, training new employees, and serving as the lead resource for the department during the evening shift. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housekeeping professional who enjoys leading by example while remaining hands-on in the day-to-day work.
What You'll Do
- Perform housekeeping, laundry, and floor care duties.
- Help coordinate evening shift assignments and workflow.
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing team members.
- Monitor quality standards and assist with performance feedback.
- Maintain linen inventory and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Safely operate floor care equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.
- Assist with minor exterior and grounds cleanliness as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with patients, families, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications
Required
- Previous housekeeping or Environmental Services experience.
- Experience operating commercial floor care equipment.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
- Ability to work independently while helping lead a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing needs.
Preferred
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Lead, Lead EVS Technician, or Trainer.
- Hospital or healthcare Environmental Services experience.
