What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Driver's License Driver position at Rangers Transport?
We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused CDL Fuel Transport Driver to transport and deliver petroleum products safely and efficiently to customer locations. Candidates must have active hazmat hauling experience, strong knowledge of DOT regulations, and experience operating tanker equipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport gasoline, diesel, and other petroleum products to customer locations
- Operate tanker trucks in compliance with all DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Safely load and unload fuel using proper procedures and equipment
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding deliveries, schedules, and route changes
- Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
- Follow all spill prevention and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Current Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required
- Minimum of 2 years CDL driving experience required
- Fuel transport or liquid tanker experience strongly preferred
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Strong understanding of DOT safety and compliance regulations
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of safety awareness
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
