Position Summary:
Our partner is a custom software consulting and digital transformation firm that helps organizations modernize platforms, build tailored software solutions, and solve complex business challenges through technology. As the team continues to grow, they are adding a Solutions Consultant to help guide opportunities from early discovery through proposal alignment and close. This person will work closely with founders, executives, operational leaders, and technical stakeholders to understand business challenges, facilitate discovery conversations, shape solution direction, and maintain momentum throughout the consulting lifecycle. The role sits at the intersection of business strategy, software delivery, and consultative solution selling. This is not a traditional product sales role. The ideal candidate understands how to navigate ambiguity, build trust with executive stakeholders, collaborate with delivery teams, and help clients define custom technology solutions aligned to business goals.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Experience leading discovery conversations with executive, business, and technical stakeholders
- Background supporting software modernization, digital transformation, or custom application initiatives
- Familiarity with software delivery concepts including SDLC, APIs, integrations, and solution scoping
- Experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, or delivery teams during pre-sales engagements
- Exposure to proposal development, SOW discussions, commercial alignment, or solution shaping activities
