Compensation and Benefits

• $40.00-$45.00 per hour based on experience

• Typical annual earnings of $90,000-$120,000

About the Role

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling equipment while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, airflow, and refrigeration issues, recommend the best solutions for customers, and ensure every system operates safely and efficiently before leaving the job.

This position offers the opportunity to work independently while receiving strong support from an experienced operations team. As your experience grows, you'll also have opportunities to mentor newer technicians and continue advancing your career.

What You'll Do

Diagnose and repair furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless systems, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, identify system performance issues, verify proper system operation, and explain repair and replacement options to homeowners in a professional, customer-focused manner.

Maintain accurate service documentation using company technology, keep your service vehicle organized, follow company safety standards, and represent Ranger Heating and Cooling with professionalism on every call.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking experienced HVAC professionals with a minimum of five years of residential service experience and strong diagnostic abilities. Candidates should be confident troubleshooting electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and mechanical issues while working independently in the field.

EPA Certification is required, and NATE Certification is preferred. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service and communication skills, a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record, and their own basic hand tools.
