What are the responsibilities and job description for the Generalist-Erath Center position at Ranger College?
Reports to the VP of Erath County Center. The major duties and responsibilities include:
- Serving as receptionist and/or assistant.
- Greeting visitors.
- Furnishing information about the College and their appropriate department to prospects, students, and visitors.
- Providing secretarial support and assistance as needed.
- Taking student payments and creating daily deposits.
- Issues student ID’s, badges, and sets up banking for loan disbursements.
- Assists with signing students up for TSI testing and finals.
- Assists with proctoring tests and finals.
- Receiving and distributing mail.
- Maintaining and purging filing correspondence.
- Creating and typing reports, and forms as needed.
- Assisting other office personnel in meeting deadlines for projects for which they have the prime responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate degree, preferably in an IT or educational focus.
Experience: At least 2 years work-related experience
Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or other Requirement: None
