Rangen Group is hiring a paid Summer Agriculture & Supply Chain Intern for a 16-week rotation in Lethbridge, AB. You’ll gain hands-on experience in crop production, hay plant operations, export/logistics, and two real-world waste-to-value projects focused on craft brewery by-products and fats/oils from food manufacturers.

Job Description
Position Summary:
Rangen Group is hiring a paid Summer Agriculture & Supply Chain Intern for a 16-week rotation in Lethbridge, AB. You’ll gain hands-on experience in crop production, hay plant operations, export/logistics, and two real-world waste-to-value projects focused on craft brewery by-products and fats/oils from food manufacturers.
A Sample of What You’ll Do in this Role:
- Rotate through field, plant, systems, and export operations with weekly focuses.
- Support two key projects: craft brewery by-product and fats/oils recovery in Western Canada.
- Visit producers, breweries, and food manufacturers with senior staff to understand operations and waste streams.
- Assist with logistics planning, data gathering, and preparation for a new ERP system.
- Deliver a final report and presentation of your findings to members of senior leadership.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Enrolled in a diploma/degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Ag Business, Supply Chain, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Interest in agriculture and turning “waste” into value-added opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with producers and plant staff.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally, work in field/plant environments.
