What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr High Assistant Wrestling Coach position at Rangely School District Region 4?
Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting the Head Coach in management of the Wrestling program which may include, but not limited to: scheduling, planning, organizing, in-season and off-season training, safety and promoting the team and Rangely Activities Department.
2. Demonstrate productive coaching strategies, skills, knowledge of Wrestling and personal fitness.
3. Establish solid communication and build quality relationships with student participants, parents and the community in general.
4. To assist the student athlete in the areas of academic excellence and eligibility and provide an atmosphere of personal growth.
5. A genuine commitment to Rangely Jr./Sr. High School philosophies, students, staff, and surrounding community.
Desired qualifications:
1. One to three years of coaching experience.
2. Skills related to coaching, teaching, recruiting, and mentoring athletes.
3. Effective and Professional Communication Skills
Must Pass Background and Drug Screening
