The Senior Contract Administrator supports the end-to-end contract lifecycle across multiple entities, ensuring contract intake, review, negotiation, and execution follow established governance practices and legal standards. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and project teams to streamline processes, manage contract templates, and maintain documentation in accordance with the company’s authority matrix and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate intake and initial triage of contracts submitted by Sales, Operations, and Project teams.
· Prepare and route contracts using internal templates and systems (SharePoint, DocuSign, Document Crunch).
· Track contract progress and maintain version control, ensuring timely execution and accurate documentation.
· Support negotiation efforts by identifying standard vs. non-standard terms and escalating to Legal when required.
· Maintain contract tracking systems, including key terms, expiration dates, and compliance requirements.
· Assist in the development and continuous improvement of contract SOPs, templates, and routing workflows.
· Ensure compliance with the Authority Matrix and support training of stakeholders on routing expectations.
· Oversee the daily workload and task prioritization of the Contract Administrator, ensuring contracts are routed in compliance with internal SOPs and escalated appropriately per the Authority Matrix.
· Provide backup coverage for key administrative steps in contract routing and documentation.
· Support audit and recordkeeping requirements through accurate digital filing and template control.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Minimum 4 years of experience in contract administration, construction administration, or legal documentation.
· Strong familiarity with construction industry contracts (GC, Subcontractor, MSA).
· Experience using SharePoint, DocuSign, and contract management platforms (e.g., Document Crunch).
· Knowledge of contract lifecycle processes, version control, and compliance documentation.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments.
· Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple active contracts simultaneously.
· Ability to work independently with remote supervision and manage deadlines with minimal oversight.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information
