The Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that purchasing, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillments run efficiently and cost-effectively. This role is key in maintaining reliable customer service while optimizing operational processes to support growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, teamwork, and analytical skills with a solid understanding of aftermarket replacement parts business, vendor relations, and coordinating logistics.
Operational Oversight:
- Processing, Fulfilling, and Delivering Orders
- Dealing with Customer Issues as they come up
- Inventory Management (Purchasing, seasonality, cycle counts
Process Improvement & Effeciency
- Evaluate and refine operational workflows to increase productivity and reduce errors or delays.
- Identify opportunities to improve vendor lead times, fill rates, and inventory accuracy.
- Manage inventory turnover, on-time shipping, and order accuracy.
- Streamline internal processes using ERP tools in NetSuite.
Team Leadership
- Supervise operations staff, including warehouse, purchasing, and logistics personnel.
- Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing training, feedback, and support.
- Foster a collaborative, safety-conscious, and quality-driven work environment.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure data integrity within the ERP system.
- Support forecasting activities by providing data on usage trends, seasonality, and demand changes to ensure consistent part quality and availability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
