Range Telecommunications is hiring a full-time afternoon receptionist to join our team.
What We Do
For 50 years, we’ve served as professional receptionists for over 400 businesses across the United States. Our clients include:
- Funeral homes
- Law offices
- Home health agencies
- Plumbing & heating companies
- And many other service-based businesses
When they’re busy or closed for the day, we answer their phones as if we are sitting in their office.
There is:
- No telemarketing
- No sales quotas
- No scripts to memorize
You are encouraged to develop your own professional, friendly communication style while maintaining high service standards.
What the Shift Is Like
This is a structured but fast-paced position. Calls vary throughout the shift — some moments are steady, others busier. You may handle multiple calls, gather detailed information, and switch between different client accounts.
Some industries (such as funeral homes or medical offices) require professionalism and compassion. Others are more routine service calls. Every call is different, which keeps the work engaging.

Schedule
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Full-time
- 4 days on / 4 days off rotating schedule
- Every other weekend off (unless you opt for weekend premium pay)
This schedule provides built-in long breaks every rotation.

Important Notes
