Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Cary, IL 60013
Duration: 3-4 Months with conversion possibilities
Pay rate: $18.50/hr. - $20/hr. (based on shift)
2nd shift - 4:20 pm - 12:30 am
3rd shift- 12:20 am - 8:00 am
Steel Toe Shoes: Required
Job Description
- Candidates must be able to work 8–16 hours of overtime per week based on fluctuating business needs and must have reliable transportation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ordering/delivering component parts to workstations, filling machine hoppers, and moving cartons of assembled goods to the Warehouse.
- Must be able to lift/move/push a minimum of 50 lbs and reach above shoulder continuously throughout shift (approx. every 15 min).
- Must possess basic PC/math skills (orders/computer entry), and be able to read, write and speak English to communicate and understand relevant information relating to quality and production issues.
- Steel-toe shoes are required for this position
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, or push a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to reach above shoulder height continuously throughout the shift (approximately every 15 minutes)
Communication Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate and understand information relating to production and quality issues
