- Resource RNs must be qualified to perform duties that include but are not limited to the following:
- All duties listed in "RN and LPN Position Requirements” section below.
- Oversee the units and serve as a resource to nursing staff in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and caring environment on the units and throughout the hospital.
- Act as role models for the delivery of safe and therapeutic nursing care.
- Identify and communicate clinical and administrative concerns to Executive Nursing Leadership and/or the Executive on Call.
- Initiate the NHH Emergency Preparedness Plan and Patient Care Services Continuity of Operations Plans when needed in emergency situations.
- Monitor staffs' adherence to the Policies and Standards of NHH and NHH Department of Nursing.
- Monitor staffing throughout the hospital.
- Demonstrate positive leadership.
