Job Description
The Sales Rep actively identifies, engages, and wins new coatings clients for all Ranew’s facilities. The right candidate will possess the ability to deliver against aggressive sales targets and to manage a disciplined pipeline from prospecting through close. The position is also responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive top-line growth.

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
Build and execute a territory plan to grow new business within target verticals and geographies.
Generate leads via targeted outreach (cold calls / emails), plant visits, networking, and industry events and trade shows.
Coordinate RFQs: gather drawings/BOMs, collaborate with estimating / operations on pricing and capacity, and deliver timely, competitive proposals.
Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and produce weekly and/or monthly forecasts and activity reports.
Partner with our quote team and plant managers on customer requirements, and ongoing service expectations.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities; recommend strategic targets and campaigns.
Achieve (and exceed) sales targets for new revenue growth and activity metrics.
Represent Ranew’s brand with professionalism; resolve issues quickly to protect customer satisfaction and retention.
Outside Sales Representative Qualifications:
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Good customer Service skills.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic knowledge of computer functions, including the ability to use multiple computer systems and programs.
Solid technical / business acumen—able to discuss coating processes, tolerances, and quality expectations with engineers and potential new customers.
2–3 years of B2B outside sales experience.
Solid industrial coatings / finishing knowledge is required.
