Ranew's Companies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Milner, GA. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for starting new product lines and improving existing product lines by increasing safety and throughput. This position is responsible for designing and producing fixtures to aid in production in various areas including robotic welders, painting, powder coating, and assembly. This role will analyze customer requirements and provide recommendations for resources needed to meet these requirements.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop and design fixtures and manage implementation processes.
- Aid in programming of robotic welders using offline programming.
- Lead design and development of new products.
- Handle multiple internal and external customer projects.
- Develop capital spending plans, cost analysis, and oversee cost savings projects.
- Support the Operations team working in a safe and customer-focused manner.
Mechanical Engineer Qualifications:
- B.S. in engineering, manufacturing technology or related technical area.
- Lean Manufacturing.
- SolidWorks experience - Drawings, Assemblies, BOMs, Sheet Metal, Simulation.
- Experience with GD&T drawings.
- Manufacturing Experience - Laser, Press Brake, Welding (Robotic), CNC Mill/Lathe.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products - Work, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Able to quickly acclimate to a new environment: build and develop functional relationships, gain knowledge of products, utilize technology to develop analytical and reporting tools, and learn multiple customer requirements.
