Overview
Local saw shop seeks part time help in a fast paced environment. Saw shop experience is preferred but not mandatory. willingness to learn is a must. Pay to be commiserate with experience.
Duties
- Assist with the setup and operation of grinders, swages, and shapers.
- Support material handling, including loading, unloading, and organizing saws
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by following safety standards in production and adhering to equipment safety protocols
- Assist with troubleshooting industrial equipment issues and report any malfunctions promptly.
Requirements
- Prior experience in Saw Shop or factory environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Basic understanding of mechanical work
- Familiarity with shop math, precision measurement and quality control procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools and basic industrial equipment safely
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to safety standards in production environments.
