Duties
- Coordinate and oversee mobile harm reduction services, including distribution of supplies such as naloxone kits, clean syringes, and educational materials.
- Engage with community members in a respectful, non-judgmental manner to build rapport and trust.
- Collect and document client information accurately.
- Engage participants using trauma-informed, nonjudgmental practices.
- Plan outreach routes and schedules.
- Track and manage inventory and supply kits.
- Collect required service data and maintain accurate logs.
- Coordinate outreach with community partners and internal programs.
- Represent the organization professionally during outreach activities.
Skills
- Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to safely operate a van.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in community-based settings.
- Comfort working with individuals impacted by substance use and homelessness.
- Commitment to harm reduction principles.
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred; experience in outreach, harm reduction, or social services may substitute.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
