Summary: Join our dedicated team at Randy’s House, a nonprofit engagement center committed to providing support for individuals on their journey to recovery. We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic State-Certified Peer Recovery Coach to guide, mentor, and support those who are overcoming substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Aid those seeking temporary respite in our engagement center.
- Provide peer support and mentorship to individuals in recovery. Must have a certification in Peer Recovery Coaching through the state or CCAR.
- Collaborate with treatment teams to develop effective recovery plans.
- Facilitate group discussions and one-on-one sessions.
- Utilize your lived experience with recovery to inspire and motivate others.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
- Be available for weekend shifts to ensure client support.
Qualifications:
- Must possess state certification as a Peer Recovery Coach or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of the recovery process and substance use disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
