Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cabinet CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will create accurate cabinet drawings and production-ready plans using CAD software. This role requires strong technical drawing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret customer requirements and design specifications.
Duties:
- Create detailed cabinet layouts, shop drawings, and production plans using CAD software.
- Convert customer measurements, sketches, and design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Prepare cut lists, material specifications, and assembly details as needed.
- Revise drawings based on customer feedback or project changes.
- Verify dimensions and ensure drawings meet company standards and manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure projects are completed accurately.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Identify and resolve design conflicts before production.
Qualifications
- Experience using CAD software (Mozaik or similar).
- Experience designing cabinetry, millwork, or custom woodworking projects preferred.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of measurements, dimensions, and construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
