Warehouse Generalist

We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Warehouse Worker to perform a variety of essential duties to support the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. This role involves manual labor, including loading, unloading, picking, packing, and general housekeeping, all while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.

salary: $16.5 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment (Picking & Packing): Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using pick lists or handheld scanning devices. Inspect items for damage and ensure correct quantities before packaging. Prepare and label packages for shipment.

• Loading & Unloading: Manually load and unload trucks, containers, and staging areas, ensuring that all products are handled safely to prevent damage.

• Material Handling: Move materials and products throughout the warehouse using non-powered equipment like pallet jacks or hand trucks. Assist in stacking and organizing items in designated inventory locations.

• Inventory Assistance: Help with cycle counting and physical inventories, ensuring stock is accurately accounted for and organized. Identify and report any product discrepancies or damaged inventory.

• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This includes sweeping, removing debris, breaking down cardboard, and ensuring aisles and exits remain clear.

• Equipment Operation: Follow all safety guidelines when operating basic warehouse equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions immediately.

• Teamwork & Communication: Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff, clerks, and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
