Production Supervisor Job Summary
A leading industrial packaging organization is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join their team in McMinnville, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will possess prior management experience, strong analytical skills to resolve manufacturing issues, and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing concepts.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with scheduling, purchasing, engineering, and program managers for production schedules, forecasts, and material needs.
- Implement and maintain 5S standards in the work area.
- Train the team on proper tool and equipment usage, ensuring they are trained in quality standards.
- Maintain overall department efficiency.
- Reduce cycle and setup times for production machines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Thermoforming and prior direct management experience.
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Some machinery experience with manual mills & lathes and other hand tools.
- Liean Manufacturing knowledge.
