Responsibilities
CNC Machinery: Maintain, troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and optimize 3- to 5-axis CNC mills and lathes to maximize uptime and precision.
Diagnostics: Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo/drive, spindle, turret, alignment, and calibration repairs.
Preventive Maintenance: Lead PM programs, including lubrication, alignment, spindle run-out, linear guides, coolant systems, and machine leveling.
Upgrades & Facilities: Support machine installs, relocations, and rebuilds. Maintain plant infrastructure (wiring, PLCs, plumbing, cranes, pumps, air systems).
Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts for rigging and setups; maintain certifications.
Troubleshooting: Conduct root-cause analyses on recurring failures, implement solutions, and document findings.
Collaboration: Partner with engineering, quality, and production to drive continuous improvement, machine health monitoring, and cost reductions.
Safety First: Enforce LOTO, machine guarding, fall protection, daily JSAs, and aerial lift safety protocols.
