Required:
- Must have solid analytical skills

- General Knowledge Requirements: TSO, ISPF, JCL, JES2, OMVS, TCP/IP, SDSF, WLM, SMS, SDSF, SMPE
- 5 years of experience as an MVS Systems Programmer with any of the following concentrations :
- CICS System Administration and support
- Db2 V12/V13 (with Data Sharing a plus)
- zO/S V2 (with Sysplex a plus)
- Storage Administration (DFSMS, DFHSM, FDR/ABR a plus, etc...)
- Hardware Configuration a plus (HCD, IBM DS8000, DS7700 VTAPE, etc...)
- Must be able to investigate new techniques or methods and communicate those ideas to the team and upper management.
Huge Pluses:
- Performance Monitoring tools (BMC Mainview or similar)
- Security Administration (RACF or similar)
- COBOL Applications Programming Environments (Batch / CICS / DB2 Stored Procedures)
- Operations Restart and Scheduling Software (BMC Control-M and/or Control R)
- OMVS Services/Linux on Z
- Disaster Recovery / Global Mirror
- WLM/System Tuning

responsibilities:
As a member of the Z Systems Administration Team, this position will support the efforts related to all Mainframe Application Environments and Interfaces. This position also participates in the design and configuration of new systems, hardware, appliances, protocols, networks, and technologies as well as tuning and maintaining existing systems. This position is required to function independently or as part of a team and have the ability to handle multiple tasks under the general direction of a senior staff member. Team projects will include, but not be limited to software version upgrades, major hardware upgrade support and testing, system maintenance.
