We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations at our Middletown, CT facility. In this role, you will work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to enhance process efficiency, solve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Support: Troubleshoot shop-floor process issues and implement practical solutions alongside operators and supervisors.
- Process Development: Develop and refine manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
- Tooling & Design: Utilize 3D modeling software to support fixture design and process enhancements.
- New Product Introduction (NPI): Assist in bringing new products from development to production, including tooling support and process validation.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner cross-functionally to lead initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
- Root Cause & Quality Analysis: Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality non-conformances.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze production metrics to identify trends, eliminate bottlenecks, and lower costs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace or highly regulated industry preferred).
- CAD Skills: Experience using 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or similar).
- Technical Acumen: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, high adaptability, and a hands-on, team-oriented attitude.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Exposure to project management principles or leading small technical projects.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
