Our client is seeking a Production Planner in Wayne, NJ to translate customer demand into executable weekly schedules. In this key role, you will align supply chain strategy with plant execution, driving continuous material flow and optimal capacity. You will work directly with plant teams to resolve bottlenecks and optimize inventory performance.

responsibilities:

• Translate customer demand from IBP into weekly production schedules within SAP, accounting for demonstrated plant capacity.
• Run daily SAP reports to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between planned schedules and floor execution.
• Reconcile Kanban inventory levels between physical stock and SAP records to maintain continuous material flow.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve scheduling bottlenecks and manage work-in-process inventory.
• Prepare shop floor paperwork, issue production orders (ZP01, ZP05, ZP08), and expedite raw materials or finished goods through inspection.
