What are the responsibilities and job description for the Windows Systems Administrator position at Randstad Digital?
Must already be local to the Madison area as interviews will take place onsite. No relocation is allowed. This position will be onsite a minimum of two days per week.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Systems Administrator must be highly self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with strong attention to detail.

responsibilities:
- The Systems Engineer will play a key role in the design, planning, execution, and installation of the current infrastructure to support new applications and technologies.
- Support software and hardware upgrades and maintenance of Windows servers, operating systems, infrastructure systems, and applications.
- The Systems Engineer relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks.
qualifications:
- 8 years of experience with server and system administration technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare, and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
- Experience with standard industry practices including management of Windows Server systems.
Nice to have skills:
- PowerShell
- ITIL certification
- Experience supporting M365 and SharePoint
- Administration of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Administration of Microsoft .NET web applications
